A tea pitcher is also known as cha hai or a ‘fair cup’. It is used to hold tea liquid so it can be distributed equally among sitters or to deposit broken tea leaves. This pitcher was fired with wood, ashes from wood firing leave natural and uneven rough glaze on it’s surface, it’s a unique piece of art with a rare red colour.
